K9 Deployment at the BSA Heads Conference

K9 Deployment Operations Managers recently attended the Boarding Schools Association Annual Headteachers’ Conference, held on 5th May in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity to meet with headteachers and senior leaders from boarding and independent schools across the UK to discuss safeguarding and the role specialist detection dog services can play within educational settings.

Throughout the conference, our team spoke with delegates about the proactive support K9 Deployment can offer schools, including drug detection dog searches within boarding houses, classroom visits, outside area searches, and educational talks tailored to both students and staff, alongside our explosives search capability for events and high-profile visits.

Our highly trained detection dogs also attended the event, giving delegates the opportunity to meet the teams firsthand and learn more about how detection dogs operate professionally, discreetly, and effectively within school environments.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to visit us during the conference. It was a pleasure to speak with so many schools that are committed to maintaining safe, supportive, and proactive safeguarding cultures within their communities.

If you were unable to attend the conference or did not have the opportunity to speak with our team on the day, we would still be delighted to discuss how K9 Deployment can support your school.
